Managing Director @ Techstars

Jag is the Managing Director for the METRO Accelerator for Retail, powered by Techstars. He's founded several companies, and invested in over 70 startups over the last six years, including two that went through Techstars accelerators. He’s an ad-man at heart, and spent a decade as a political strategist advising high-profile politicians, campaigns and corporations across the US and Europe. Manuel Heckmann

Founder & COO @ EcoG

Manuel is a two-time founder. He is co-founder and COO of EcoG. Besides running a company he is a mentor and coach for start-ups and individuals on topics like growth, organisation and investment. He speaks at conferences and give lectures at universities on entrepreneurship, digitisation, business modeling and company building on a regular basis. Among others, he strongly believe in eye-level communication, agile leadership and practice transactional analysis.

Brittany Salas is the Program Director for Energy and Sustainability at Plug and Play, where she brings innovation and environmental responsibility to the private sector. Plug and Play connects startups to corporations, and invests in over 100 companies every year. The accelerator has 22 locations across the world with success stories that include PayPal, Dropbox, SoundHound, and Lending Club.

Johannes Landgraf

Investment Analyst @ Target Partners

With €300 million under management, Target Partners is one of the leading early-stage venture capital firms in Germany. Before joining Target Partners, Johannes Landgraf gained startup experience and co-founded his first firm MyBodylotion at the age of 16. He was Entrepreneur in Residence at a medical AI firm, worked at Robert Bosch in Thailand and at the private equity firm ACP.

Sebastián is CEO of ProtoPixel, a Barcelona-based startup that is changing the way we experience light through easy to use, intelligent lighting technology. Holding a PhD in ICT and having a background in user-centered design and innovation management, he brings life to products for music performance, intelligent lighting control, and interactive machine learning. Also Sebastián is the co-organiser of different innovation and creative platforms like the Barcelona Music Hack Day and the Sonar Innovation Challenge within Sonar Festival.

Marcel Schmid

Co-founder & CMO @ Flexperto

Marcel is Co-founder of Flexperto, a Communication Software a as Service for large enterprises that allows their sales reps to communicate with their customers online via different channels. He has had previous experience at BMW and an M&A Boutique. Marcel is responsible for any Marketing and Finance related topics at Flexperto. He also founded the Digisurance Conference, which is one of the major German conferences for digital innovation in the insurance industry.

Martin Weber

CFO @ Infarm

Before joining INFARM as CFO, Martin was heading EuropeanPioneers, an EU accelerator fund by company builder etventure. Prior to that, he's been COO of Europe's leading accelerator Startupbootcamp Media in Tel Aviv and London. He acted also as the Program Director of MusicTech-centric Accelerator "Marathon Artists LABs". With a background in Banking, Consulting and Venture Capital, Martin combines a wide range of disciplines. He graduated from ESCP Europe (M.Sc.) and HSBA Hamburg (B.Sc.).

Videesha Böckle

Founding & Managing Partner @ Signals VC

Videesha has over a decade of work experience in the areas of business/product development, corporate innovation and venture capital. She’s a Partner at Berlin based signals Venture Capital investing €1m-€3m tickets in frontier and enterprise tech with a focus on Europe. She worked for London-based Venture Capital fund PROfounders Capital. Formerly she was an Entrepreneur in Residence for FTSE 250 Telco TalkTalk Plc working on strategic corporate innovation and data-driven customer relationship management.

Franziska Koltermann

Talent Manager @ Treatwell

Franziska is responsible for the talent management at Treatwell where she helped grow the team to over 500 employees. Besides that she gained significant startup experience at Getsurance, Glispa and Foodspring where she played a key role in scaling the businesses operations. She will be joining us in the Later Stage Panel. We are happy to have her on board.

Lars Kahl

Investment Manager @ Alex Springer DV

Lars graduated in Accounting and Finance (HSG) while working at the Institute of Technology Management, focussing on Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He is drawing upon experience from Rocket Internet in Germany and the Middle East, with a passion for Product and Business Development, and has worked for a VC in Berlin before joining Axel Springer.

Lukas Pfaffernoschke

Head of Business Development @ Sennder

Sennder is a digital road-freight-forwarder. The company connects shippers with carriers through software. Founded in 2015, Sennder nowadays drive for Europe’s largest e-commerce companies. They offer real time bookings as well as precise live tracking, resulting in greater transparency of logistics supply chain to their customers. Before joining Sennder as Head of Business Development, Lukas was consultant at Roland Berger, where he worked on projects in energy.

Constantin von Bergmann-Korn

Head of Investment @ APX

Constantin manages dealflow activities at APX, ensuring that investors are familiar with the investment potential of APX's portfolio startups. It’s his job to make sure that as many of the startups that join their program get funding once they’ve finished. He joined APX’s sister company, Axel Springer Plug and Play, back in 2015 and, before that, worked for a digital service startup in London and a boutique risk consulting firm in Vienna. He really, really loves running.

Stephan Herwig

CMO @ Thermondo

Stephan is CMO at Thermondo, a tech-enabled planner, financier and installer of heat solutions. Before joining Thermondo in 2014, Stephan held roles in Brand and Performance Marketing with LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, OgilvyOne and windeln.de. He holds a CEMS Master's in International Management from The University of Sydney, HEC School of Management Paris and The University of St. Gallen. Stephan also teaches Data-Driven Growth Management at digital transformation academy ShiftSchool.

No, students from any university are welcome to apply for the event.

Yes. You have to apply to the event with your CV. We will screen every application and inform you within 2-3 days whether you have been selected to attend the event.

Participants will be selected based on educational and professional fit with the event. Proven track records are great as well. However, the most important criteria is a proven interest in the tech industry.
